Forks, shock absorbers, the swingarm and everything that holds the steering.

5 items: 4 type A (one fails the test), 1 type B (five fail the test).

The shock absorbers, the forks and the swingarm are firmly bolted to the frame.
Look at the top and bottom of each shock and at the swingarm pivot for loose bolts or play.

Nothing in the suspension is bent, knocks or has play: fork tubes, bushes, bearings and the swingarm pin.
Push down hard on the handlebar and the seat and listen for knocks. Pull the rear wheel sideways to feel swingarm play.

Both fork legs and the rear shock or shocks are all in place.
Look at both sides of the motorcycle.

There is no oil film or oily dirt on the fork tubes or the shock bodies.
Wipe the shiny fork tubes with a clean cloth, ride a little and look again.

The handlebar clamps, the fork yokes and the steering head are tight, with no play.
Hold the front brake and rock the motorcycle back and forth: a knock from the steering head means play. Turn the handlebar lock to lock: it should move smoothly.
