After a ride, park over clean cardboard for ten minutes and look for drops.
No oily film or damp patches on the engine, even without drips.
Look around the cylinder base, the covers and the drain plug.
No coolant leaks from the radiator, hoses or pump.
Look for wet patches or white or green crust at the hoses and the radiator.
Applies only with a radiator.
No bare, melted, taped-together or hanging wires.
Look under the seat, behind the headlight and along the frame.
