What the self-check shows and what it does not.
Is this the official inspection?
No. Only a Centro de Diagnóstico Automotor (CDA) registered in RUNT can inspect a motorcycle and issue the certificate. This is a pre-check you do yourself.
Does DASA MOTOS do the técnico-mecánica?
No. DASA MOTOS is a motorcycle workshop. It fixes what you ask before you take the motorcycle to a CDA.
When is my first inspection?
Two years after the motorcycle was registered (its matrícula), then every year. The date in RUNT is the one that counts; you can enter it in the app.
What are type A and type B?
The inspection standard (NTC 5375) classes each defect. One type A defect fails the motorcycle; so do five or more type B defects.
Can the app check the gases or the brakes?
Not with numbers. The centre measures gases, brake force and the headlight with instruments. The app tells you what to look for so problems show up before the test.
What do the estimates include?
The part and the fitting for a typical 100 to 200 cc motorcycle. Some jobs are quoted after a look. DASA MOTOS confirms every price.
What if my motorcycle fails?
You have 15 calendar days to repair it and can go back once, free of charge, to the same centre for the failed items.
Where is my information kept?
Only on your phone, until you delete it. There is no account and the app has no internet access.
